Seaton Primary School is situated in the coastal town of Seaton, East Devon. We are within a mile of the stunning Jurassic Coast, the river Axe and Seaton wetlands nature reserve. We are surrounded by a wealth of natural beauty which provide us with an array of opportunities to get involved in our local community and environment.
The school first moved to its present site in 1981 and an extension was added in 2004. We have excellent facilities, including 14 classrooms, a well stocked library, many practical and resource areas, a large hall and an ICT suite. Outside we enjoy a large playground, covered swimming pool, a spacious field, a maturing woodland area, as well as imaginative KS1 playgrounds, an award winning vegetable garden, an adventure area and a new all-weather running track. All learners are provided with an abundance of modern resources and interactive technology.
Seaton Primary School is also proud to be at the forefront of being a sustainable school. With our wind turbine, photo-voltaic panels and passive solar panels, we were the first school in South West England to make use of a selection of renewable energy sources. This helps our children to think about caring for our world and know about alternative energy.
