Welcome to our class blog!

In Year 3 our aim is to help children adapt to the expectations and changes after moving from KS1 to KS2. We encourage children to become more independent and pro-active learners, to prepare them for Year 4 and further up the school. We hope you take the time to regularly visit our blog to get a flavour of all the exciting activities we get up to over the coming year.

We have received a visit from Helen Parr of the Devon Greater Horseshoe Bat Project, this has inspired us to work together to become a Bat Friendly school.
On Friday 9th June, the whole school enjoyed a special morning, celebrating and learning about Christian weddings. We held a mock wedding at St Gregory’s church where Danielle and Thomas played the part of the bride and groom, and a girl and boy from every class played the parts of bridesmaids and ushers. A big thank you to Rev Jeremy Trew at St Gregory’s Church who led the service and to Just Flowers of Seaton who very generously donated the flowers. We had a great time dressing up, don’t the children scrub up well!
Seaton Primary children represent the school at the Beer Blazer fun run.
Science Week at Seaton Primary was celebrated during the week of 20th March. Every child was involved with a class engineering challenge and were visited by a parent working in a STEM field jobs. This year was also the first time we held a Science Fair for the children.
